This application is designed to enhance English speech reception skills. It offers a variety of texts containing challenging words and expressions commonly found in American English. Moreover, users not only learn the meanings of these words and expressions, but also gain insight into their historical origins. What sets this application apart is its use of professional speakers who have recorded all the texts. This ensures a high-quality listening experience. The application provides a unique feature where the English text and translation are displayed simultaneously while the speaker's voice is playing. This helps users better understand and follow along with the audio. In addition, the application includes a test to assess English speech perception skills. Users are required to listen to sentences spoken by the speaker and check them against the provided English text. One of the standout features of this application is its flexibility in terms of training schedule. Users can individually choose their preferred order of training and can simultaneously train with up to three texts at a time. To unlock new texts, users must successfully pass the test. The test difficulty level can be adjusted to cater to individual needs. Notably, retesting can only improve the user's results.
